Sage is Michael and Sunshine King's granddaughter. (They are the ones who get the gems from heaven and make these essences.) Sage, at the age of seven had grown up around the miracles and the gemstones appearing and wanted her own rainbow-colored stone. Other people had gotten their prayers answered, Why not her? She couldn't understand why God wouldn't do what she was asking, and was feeling unloved and unheard, the opposite of the purpose of the gems. They sat her down and had a short discussion about gratitude and appreciating what God was doing while still asking Him for what she wanted. She cheered up and went off to play. Shortly after, she came running back in with a clear gemstone about the size of a quarter. “God did it! He gave me my stone! Look everyone! Look!” It was beautifully cut and had 57 facets to it. Not only that, but when she held it up to the sunlight, it cast rainbows on the wall.
